X-RAY IN MOTION
DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY
SEE MOTION RADIOLOGY LIKE NEVER BEFORE
The evolution of diagnostic imaging is Digital Motion X-ray (DMX) ®.
Digital Motion X-ray (DMX) allows you to observe real time movement like never before. This low-dose x-ray imaging technology enables visualization of anatomy in real time motion. The DMX acquires 30 sequential radiographs per second, allowing you to observe the anatomical structures for up to several minutes if required, as well as individual radiographic images. Digital Motion X-ray is a technology that is a unique fluoroscopic imaging system that uses two separate cameras to visualize the internal structures as well as the external structures using patented picture-in-picture technology.

AP OPEN MOUTH PROJECTION
DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY REVEALS SEVERE SPINAL INSTABILITY OF C1 LATERAL MASS SLIDING OF THE EDGE OF C2 AND THE INCREASE/DECREASE OF THE PARAODONTOID SPACES. THIS DEMONSTRATES THAT THERE WAS TEARING OF THE RIGHT AND LEFT ALAR AND ACCESSORY LIGAMENTS.
LATERAL NODDING PROJECTION
DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY REVEALS SEVERE SPINAL INSTABILITY OF C1 SLIDING ANTERIOR ON C2 SHOWING AN INCREASE IN
THE ATLANTO-DENS INTERSPACE DEMONSTRATING TEARING OF THE TRANSVERSE LIGAMENT.
AP OPEN MOUTH PROJECTION (PRE-SURGERY)
DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY REVEALS SEVERE SPINAL INSTABILITY OF C1 LATERAL MASS SLIDING OF THE EDGE OF C2 AND THE INCREASE/DECREASE OF THE PARAODONTOID SPACES. THIS DEMONSTRATES THAT THERE WAS TEARING OF
THE RIGHT AND LEFT ALAR AND ACCESSORY LIGAMENTS.
AP OPEN MOUTH PROJECTION (POST-SURGERY)
DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY REVEALS A C1-C2 TRANSARTICULAR LAG SCREW FIXATION FUSION.

DIGITAL MOTION X-RAY REVEALS SEVERE SPINAL INSTABILITY OF THE RIGHT AND LEFT FACET JOINTS BY SHOWING INTERVERTEBRAL FORAMINAL ENCROACHMENT OF C3-C4 ON THE RIGHT AND C4-C5 BILATERALLY. FACET GAPPING IS ALSO NOTED ON
FLEXION AT C5-C6 AND C6-C7 BILATERALLY. THIS DEMONSTRATES TEARING OF THE CAPSULAR LIGAMENTS.

Digital Motion X-ray Imaging is Used to Assess Spine Stability and Joint Motion to Improve Medical Outcomes.
Standard X-ray, CT and MRI all show static views of the spine and anatomical structures. DMX can help assess spine stability by providing a detailed view of the full range of motion in real time. DMX allows you to visualize and pinpoint musculoskeletal injury, such as whiplash, as treatment follow-up and post-operative evaluation of movement. By showing patients their joint movement makes communication simpler and more effective.
